Power rings were previously one of the seven types of skill rings in O2Jam. It is classified in its own category.
Overview[]
The Power Ring was implemented on January 27, 2006 in the Malaysian version of O2Jam. It has been reported in early 2008 that skill rings emerged (as a hack) in the Philippines.
Effect[]
When a room captain uses a Power ring, other players who have the song already downloaded in their computers but haven't bought yet can enter the room.
Issue[]
It was removed from the Malaysian version of the game due to massive amounts of hackers abusing the ring.
