Completion percentage

The completion percentage is the ratio of a player's score to the maximum possible score for the song played. This applies to O2Jam.

The completion percentage (shown below as r) can be computed as:

$r = \cfrac{\mbox{Score}}{\mbox{Maximum Score}}$

Score

The score of a player as computed in O2Jam can be approximated as:

$\mbox{Score} = c(200 + 10j) + g(100 + 5j) + 4b - 10m$

where $c$, $g$, $b$, $m$ and $j$ are the number of Cools, Goods, Bads, Misses, and Jams, respectively.

Maximum Score

The maximum number of jams for any given song can be computed as:

$j_{max} = \left \lfloor \cfrac{n - 2}{25} \right \rfloor$

where $n$ is the total number of notes.

The maximum score for any given song can be computed as:

$\mbox{Score}_{max} = n(200 + 10j) - 125j_{max}^2 - 135j_{max}$

where $n$ is the total number of notes.
